Jeff Szymanski, PhD, is a Clinical Instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School where he has supervised pre-doctoral psychology interns, psychiatry residents, and has run Cognitive Behavior Therapy seminars. He was the Director of Psychological Services at the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Institute (OCDI) prior to his current position as Executive Director of the International OCD Foundation.
Dr. Szymanski has been involved in helping to increase awareness of anxiety disorders (and OCD in particular) through the media. He served as a consultant to ABCNews.com and has been interviewed for multiple articles in newspapers, magazines, and radio across the country. He is also the author of The Perfectionist’s Handbook, Wiley (2011).
